EDUCATION PROGRAMS
As a member of the DC Collaborative, organizations and teaching artists are able to offer a variety of types of programming. Included in membership is one free program listing of any kind. The DC Collaborative facilitates programming in the following three categories:
ARTS AND HUMANITIES FOR EVERY STUDENT

Through the AHFES program, the DC Collaborative offers high quality learning experiences for all students in the DC Public Education system. AHFES programs are one-time events which could include interactive workshops, performances/programs, student matinees, or visits to museums/estates, assemblies.
DISTANCE LEARNING RESOURCE DATABASE

The DC Collaborative's Distance Learning Resource Database is a virtual learning portal. Through this database, educators may access a compilation of asynchronous learning resources, pre-recorded programs, and digital experiences for students and families.In collaboration with a multitude of arts and humanities organizations in and around Washington, DC, the database is continuously updated to enhance students' learning through technology.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The DC Collaborative, in partnership with its members, offers Professional Development Opportunities to all DC public and public charter school teachers. These opportunities focus on dance, visual arts, humanities, theater and music and how best to integrate these disciplines into their teaching practices. These workshops are provided by DC Collaborative Members and take place throughout the year.
